More vitamins?
Bold and colour seem to be my middle
names. I really didn't know I was making it so red and blue until I was done. There are some proportions I will swiftly change, but other than that, I think some of your bold colour has rubbed off on me. I am definitely captivated by small clouds!

It would cost quite a bit to hold a solo show at Todmorden Mills. But that's a thought too. Maybe when I
have 100 more paintings in about three months!

You are wonderful.

xoxoxoxoxoxBarbaraBarbara Muirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01342757136485853833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855482737695202500.post-83476440109492183862009-09-15T19:32:47.581-07:002009-09-15T19:32:47.581-07:00Congratulations on getting to the finish line!! Yo...Congratulations on getting to the finish line!! You're such a good artist that, really, they should be exhibiting your work in a solo show.

I really love this painting for its bold color, strong composition and the way you make it look so easy to paint. It's got so many wonderful elements (love your other painting in the background too) and you DO make it look effortless. I know, nothing is effortless, but you're accomplished enough to make it look so!! I hope you are feeling as confident as your paintings look.Melindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16793226305585541931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855482737695202500.post-32123102642033018182009-09-15T18:25:47.021-07:002009-09-15T18:25:47.021-07:00Hi Rob,

It is a stunning painting, but a relaxing happy mood as the woman reads an obviously positive note. I wonder if she is sharing the note from someone close, with someone close (the two cups of coffee on the table suggest company). I really love this.Catherine Jeffreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05461798205529014264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855482737695202500.post-69973874138343912312009-09-15T09:48:01.198-07:002009-09-15T09:48:01.198-07:00That's great that you're in the show!

I have the feeling that if I hung this work in my conservative colonial, everything too ivory colored home, it would change my life dramatically and for the better. Outwardly it is loud and vibrant, commanding me to look and enjoy. Once I do, I find another level of psychological introversion. It is not just gripping, it is deeply personal and serine, yet in the background there is the foreshadowing that the scene and mood is about to change. I just love this work! I would buy it if I were able. Awesome!Christine MCCoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11362013096928969829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855482737695202500.post-83754735784191548862009-09-15T00:07:18.161-07:002009-09-15T00:07:18.161-07:00Nice piece Barbara.
