Every parent, even those with the best intentions, makes mistakes. We are trying to be so much better than our parents were, but wish we could give our children more, that we always could have time for them, and say the right things at the right time. Turns out we have evidence that they will always love us, even when they're going through stages that make us question that fact.

Take care,

BarbaraBarbara Muirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01342757136485853833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855482737695202500.post-38710358607022017802009-09-12T23:11:51.928-07:002009-09-12T23:11:51.928-07:00Me too. We went fishin a lot.
Eldoneldon warrenhttp://eldonwarren.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855482737695202500.post-77249261352523639322009-09-12T18:17:27.540-07:002009-09-12T18:17:27.540-07:00Hi Janie,

Loss like that is hard to get over. Best wishes for a day of good memories.Janie Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04931897043854080377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855482737695202500.post-45849291513537668652009-09-12T08:51:43.633-07:002009-09-12T08:51:43.633-07:00Hi LeSan,

He dearly loved my older son, and sadly didn't get to meet the younger one.

My writing brother and I are continually quoting him, and humorously making up aphorisms that my Dad would never have spouted. I think he'd be touched that he is so alive in our thoughts, even when we
are making fun of him.

Take care,

BarbaraBarbara Muirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01342757136485853833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855482737695202500.post-82078672070420607532009-09-11T23:06:50.155-07:002009-09-11T23:06:50.155-07:00Barbara I am very sad that you lost your father.
