Happy news today -- my painting Higher Love went home to its
new collectors today -- a joyous moment for a piece celebrating
one of Toronto's beautiful nature spots in the middle of the city.

The painting is based on the pond in the park behind the
Brick Works in Toronto.  It's a big piece expressing my delight
in visiting the Brick Works market, and the park out behind the
market with this lovely wild space. Sometimes the pond has
been home to massive turtles. But the turtle isn't in this piece. 

The name refers to the Steve Winwood song, Higher Love, which
makes me happy every time I hear it.
