Memories of the Musée D'Orsay a year ago today

Reminder that time is of the
essence.

Last year on this day we visited the Musée D'Orsay in Paris, which has an absolutely
astoundingly wonderful art collection, and the former train station has quite
wonderful massive clocks.

Here are some examples of what we saw:

Last year because of the rain the line to get into the museum was shorter
and late in the day the line clipped along, we got in, and took
the elevator to the fifth floor to see our favourites.

Some were gone, maybe in other exhibitions in preparation for the Olympics.
(Remember the Summer Olympics were in Paris last year.) That meant we saw
paintings we'd never seen before.

The final one almost made me jealous, which is ridiculous because I'd love to see the
tulip fields, but we're never in Europe at that time.

I love the Musée D'Orsay and Paris, and can't wait to go again.  Right now we're
dealing with a very bad, bad cold, so for now dreaming is the best way to travel.

Have a loving your life day.
