In the past week we've visited a few great cooks, bakers, and as a result
I've eaten way too much, and enjoyed every bite. When we
stop vacationing next week I'll have to get back to my very simple
normal routines to counter this delightful excess.
This painting sold this year. I updated it for a show, and a
wonderful collector bought it. One of the best cooks/bakers/
chefs I ever met was my husband Steven, who for the most
part loves cooking. He made the beautiful cherry pie in this
painting, using cherries that we grew ourselves. As fall
closes in there have been a lot of almost nostalgic conversations
about gardening. This is certainly a nostalgic image for me in
so many delightful ways.
