opportunity to take a little country walk to see
the leaves. There will be no painting today -- it's a
family day all day. Some of my friends from the balmy south,
who don't see fall colours have been asking me to put some
photos on the blog.
Steven, Sam, Zoey and I took a little
walk in an old growth forest to
see the last of the autumn leaves
Absolutely beautiful scenery! Thank you for sharing.
These photos are breathtaking and I'm glad you took a day off to take a breath with your family.
How wonderful it must have been to be within that forest of gold with people you love. Beautiful photos Barbara, you did a terrific job of showing us how gorgeous your autumn colors are. Thank you for taking us along on your walk. :-)
Woo-hooo! I love these photos! What spectacular color. It must seem like a beautiful dream. I can almost hear the crunch of the dried corn and the song of the breeze shaking the leaves.
Thank you for sharing these photos. A real treat!!
Gorgeous photos! You are almost as good a photographer as you are a painter. Artist, Photographer, Cake Painter, Cook, Gardener, Teacher, Wife, Mom...you do everything so well.
You are an amazing woman, Barbara.
I'm glad you like it. It was lovely to be there with two of my three men.
We had a lot of fun. And the beauty was just so inspiring.
I noticed a very similar photo on your blog, and thought goodness we're living parallel lives. Your autumn photos were just spectacular.
We probably shouldn't have been in the corn field, but there was nobody there, and it sits on the edge of a wooded path. So beautiful. This is the very last of the autumn leaves. I would so love you to see it.
Thanks. Congratulations again on your prize.
Cook and gardener -- I don't think so.
The camera I was using does all of the work for you. I'm glad the shots worked out, I was just pointing at everything and snapping away.
Barbara- Thank you for sharing the photos from your walk- I love thinking there's such a beautiful place on the planet... and you're in it! Your word are poetry.
Thanks! That was really nice!
