Winter on the iPad

 Winter in Forest Hill
iPad drawing
8 x 10 inches
Barbara Muir © 2013
Here's a little sketch of the view up a street in
Forest Hill from the park near my house.  I
drew it with the iPad.  People ask me if I've
bought a stylus, and you can probably tell
I haven't.  Why?  I love the loose quality
that happens when I draw with my finger.
Primarily my work is in acrylic and watercolour,
but I am drawn to the delightful colour range
available on the iPad.

Have an enjoying-drawing-in-colour day.

I love this, and think it's amazing you can get this on the ipad. I tried a few of the paint programs, but my finger tips were so chapped I kept getting broken lines!
You have the right touch! :-)

Hi Liz,

I'm using Sketch Book pro. People tell me there are better programs, but I do like this one.

I'm glad you approve. I absolutely love the paintings you're doing.

Your iPad drawings are so fun. I've been thinking of you a lot. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season.

My fingers are crossed that I might get out east this year. It would be great to see you again.
