Our dear cat Timbah died today

Steven Dancing with the cat
Music by Sister Rosetta Tharpe singing

Our cat Timbah, who was 16 years old we think, and a beloved member
of our family,
died today.  I love this video of Steven dancing with Timbah,
because
it says it all.  He always loved us dancing with him.  He was affectionate,
beautiful, and a sweet, strong, caring cat right to the end.

We are so sad that he's gone, and so are our cat Fiona, and dog, Sally.
This lovely cat has been one of the great influences in our lives, and
part of our pets' pack.  Thank you to all of our family and friends who called
today to give their condolences.
And thank you to everyone who helped
make his life a
happy one.  Because I know it was.  We will miss
you sweet Timbah.

Have a loving your family day.

I am sorry for your loss of Timbah today. I am sure I can feel how your heart feels right now, having gone through these awful furbaby losses. I love the video, a happy time. Timbah has had a happy life and you are lucky to have had each other. *hugs*. Memories mean a lot at times such as this.

Barbara, so sorry to hear about Timbah. All the things you say are true about our beloved pets. My own cat Miff is 15 now. It's old in cat years but they become so much part of the family. Yes, as Judi said, we are lucky to be able to share part of our lives with these dear creatures.

Hi Judi,

Thanks for this. There are so many routines around animals. The
day he died, each one of those that didn't happen anymore broke my heart.

Hi Sheila,

Thank you so much. A pet store not far from us had a 30 year old cat, and he was
still lively. I'm sure he's gone now because stores were closed most of the time for 16 months, but I hope he's still there, and I hope your Miff still has a long, happy life.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXO Barbara

Thank you so much Melinda,

I am a bit behind on answering comments.Thank you. We have heavy construction
going on on our street, and the noise is affecting my brain I think.
I do remember so many things. We are lucky we had him, and lucky to have
two other pets missing him too.

Hugs to you.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXO Barbara
