Fast Sunday sketch

Self portrait drawing

Barbara Muir ©️ 2023

Woke up this morning eager to draw. So I drew this self portrait.
I've been thinking about how I want to proceed with portraits.
I loved the Skype portraits because they were the farthest thing
from formal. But I love formal portraits too. I am a huge fan of
Alistair Adams, and his portraits would give the Renaissance
painters a run for their money. His work is awesome.

This drawing is a keep going drawing and I am happy with it.

Have a loving your life day.

Self portraits are so difficult. This is beautiful and serious looking ❣️I tried last week with a mirror. 😂

Hi Evelyn,

I did this in a mirror too (how else?) I want to keep
my mind on art, and sometimes drawing is the answer.
