artist friend across the ocean
2025 definitely made my artistic life come alive -- it was a vibrant
year in art -- which was a gift, as the world seemed to dive into
deeper and deeper chaos. Sitting here in my somewhat tidied
studio (for New Year's Eve), I feel grateful for all of the experiences
I've had in the past year -- for our home, and the tranquility of
knowing we have love, shelter and peace where we live. This is
not the reality for so many people.
Thank you to you for making 2025 so alive. I feel like dancing
just thinking about all of the sweet people I've met, and dear friends
who continue to inspire me each year.
For the number people (I am not a numbers person) it makes me
happy that 2026 adds up to 10. I don't know how it will be a 10.
But 10 is perfection in many circles, and wouldn't that be wonderful --
a year that gave you everything you wanted. I am wishing that
for you. 2025 certainly did that for me.
