Forgive me -- the idea is from a Robert Burns poem -- To A Mouse, and the
line I'm thinking of is, "The best laid schemes o’ Mice an’ Men gang aft agley."
So today planning to get ready for a yard sale Sunday, and getting ready to
print a flyer, no parking signs went up on our street right in front of our
house. An hour on line with the city, and then Enbridge, apparently the
company putting up the signs, got us nowhere.
So. The plans now are to see if this goes ahead, as neither the city, or
Enbridge knows about it, and to create ads for a pop-up sale on Friday
and go ahead with the sale Sunday unless the street gets dug between now and
then. Fingers crossed. We're going to get ready anyway.
