Thank you to everyone who made our summer happy

It's the last day of summer in 2026, and almost the end of our
sweet vacation time.  I came upon this painting of summer 
flowers inspired by a bouquet from a flower farmer, Pegann,
who used to sell at the Brickworks market in Toronto.

At the time when I painted this I did a lot of 8 inch square
paintings, inspired by the wonderful painter Edward B. Gordon.
Edward B. often did a small painting every day and sold
them at auction on his website and blog.  He is of course
a famous artist now creating big, magnificent pieces. 

Tonight we had an end of summer meal with friends that
was delicious, and yes we've been spoiled.  I delighted in
seeing the work of another wonderful artist.
