but physically glorious despite the high work
demand. I have so much marking to do that
I can hardly see straight. But this morning the
light that came through the opening in my
bedroom curtains was so compelling that
I had to paint it.

glinting off picture frames, and my favorite
mirror, and leaving the rest of the tableau in
darkness. A challenge to paint, but one I want
to try. So here's the first few steps.
