I promise there will be more of my art on the blog
very soon. Maybe even tomorrow. But believe
me when I say there hasn't been a second to
produce any since we arrived home from Florence.
I am very tired tonight, and struggling with a very
bad cold, so I'm going to sleep.
I thought you might enjoy this photo of a
1340's or thereabouts manuscript from the
Duomo in Siena. I hope you are enjoying the holiday spirit.
We got our tree tonight, but still don't have
lights up, or a wreathe on the door.
Have a getting-a-holiday-together day.

I am glad to hear that you arrived home safely and hope you get rid of that cold as soon as possible!
Thanks for all the interesting stories about your trip - a bit like having gone there with you...
Warm greetings,Liza
Welcome home dear! I know you had a wonderful time. Couldn't help but notice that. LOL
Do rest and take care of yourself and that blasted cold. And don't worry about the wreath or decorations--you are decoration enough. You light up the world with your cheerful and loving spirit far more than any wreath or candy cane ever could.
You and your family are in my heart and thoughts. Have a wonderful joyful holiday!
Hi Liza,
Yes I'm glad to be home and I sure want to kiss this cold goodbye.
I really wish you had gone there with me. Next time.
Merry Christmas,
Barbara
Hi LeSan,
Right now I light up the world like
Rudolf's nose. Thank you. You are sweet.
Wishing you and your family a very joyous holiday too.
Take care,
Barbara
Hi Barbara, Glad to hear you made it home OK. And thanks for the blow by blow account of your adventure in Florence. It was almost like being there and it's as close, probably, as I'll come any time soon to getting there. Maybe when I win that 500 million dollar lottery. Yeah?
Loved the photos and the stories were even better.
