More pictures from the show

Saturday night's opening was a blast.  Joyce Fournier,
the Gallery Director at Studio Vogue Gallery, sent me
some pictures today that will give you a bit of the feeling.

Here's a picture of me with Raylea Lambert and Mick
van Leur who feature prominently in my painting Love
on the High Line.  It was great to see them and many
collectors, friends and family at the show.  Really fun.

Fun at the opening of Faces and Places at Studio Vogue Gallery

In this picture people are having fun talking, and drinking the
wonderful wine the gallery served. Two of my paintings are in
the background.
Guests having an animated chat in front
of Gill Cameron's beautiful paintings.

Gill's lush paintings of Tanzania in the background.

In this shot I look like I felt last Saturday -- tired
from painting hard and delighted to be there.
Thanks again to everyone who came out.  If you
couldn't make it we're having another party at the
gallery on November 24th from 6 - 8 p.m.
We would really love to see you then.

Have an-enjoying-art day.

So are you cute or what and glamorous too!!!!
Now I’m quadruply sorry I missed the opening. Everyone looks, including you and your work as though you’re all having a fabulous time. I better get in there and do the tour for myself. Good show, Muir, I say!!!

Barbara! Awesome! Your paintings are so vibrant and full of energy and colour. I love them! I had hoped to come and then couldn't but I will put the 24th in my calendar and cross my fingers. Have a great birthday celebration with your son! Cheers,
Kim

The painting of Hannah on the motorbike painting is soooo amazing Barbara...I am blown away by it and it should be winning awards. The colour and detail...the familiar, yet unfamiliar. Not only is this a beautiful , alive portrait of a lovely young woman, but it is also a portrait of that familiar superstore parking lot...and that places this painting in a particular time and place. It will be an historical reference point one day that will capture 2011 in a way that photography couldn't.

Hi Barbara, it's so nice to see how happy you look and how beautiful!
And your paintings are amazing - I hadn't realized how big they are.
I very much regret I can't be there in person!

Hi Flora,

Maybe you could persuade the town of Fredericton to buy it. That would be nice eh? You are very sweet. So sorry about the tree. Very sad.

Hi Pam,

Yes the work certainly is bright. Big and I'd like to go bigger, but just getting the canvas home in my car is problem one.

After that we'd be sailing. Right?

Love your work.

Oh Liza,

I would just love to see you walk in the door. I think my heart might stop with excitement, but it would start again right away. Love the London paintings.

I've been there, and can feel how great it is looking at them.
