More from the gallery and one awesome day in New York City

Me and a gallery guest with my paintings at the Amsterdam
Whitney last night.

The opening was such a great event, and I'm afraid I still need
to get the names of the wonderful people I met like the
fellow above, from the gallery. I'll do that in the coming days.
Steven and Christopher on the High Line, NYC

Today we met our son and walked the High Line with
him -- always amazing, and particularly fun with Christopher.
Then we took a long walk in Central Park and saw so many
incredible sight.
Bubble makers in the park

More bubble in Central Park
Central Park Moves
 Something else we watched.
For dinner we walked up the street to Il Gattopardo, and enjoyed
a delicious fish dinner.

Have a loving-the-things-you-see day.

great pictures of you Barbara!! you are a doll. You're in the bigwigs now, showing in New York city. Welcome home to Toronto and your lovely home. I LOVE these bubble blowers...omg...feels like a painting subject, yes?

Congrats Barbara... YAY for you!! I can't believe this though... I have also been in New York City all weekend, but am leaving in an hour for the airport. Sadly, I am days behind in my email and just saw that you have been here too! My son graduated from Columbia Business School on Sunday so we have been busy with all the festivities. You and I have been passing each other all weekend - I, too, was walking in Central Park, and had brunch just below the High-Line - DARN, DARN, DARN!!! I know we will meet one day and hate that we were so close but missed this opportunity! BOO. Have a GREAT time while you are here and best of luck with the show! XOXOXO

Hi Sally,

The Bubble blowers were amazing.
I didn't get a picture of the biggest one -- I think it was about ten feet long, and at least two feet deep. The little children around the bubble guys were so happy. Thanks so much. It is good to be home.

Hi Laurel,

I had such a hard time getting email, and had to go to Starbucks to use my computer. Which was fun, but I felt like I was in a computer blackout. So I'm so terribly sorry I missed you.
DARN is right. Congratulations for your son. We will meet and it will be so wonderful.

XOXOXOXOXO Barbara
