Pansy wonder. More from the treasure drawers.

The real thing

It is a busy week here, and Raptors fever has not diminished
very much.  There is so much excitement around the team's
win.  I feel like I was down standing waiting for four
hours to see the bus come by, like some of my friends.
But that's just exhaustion from an intense week of work.

To the rescue another sweet painting of pansies from the
deep art drawers in our cold room.  And I appreciate how
miraculous that is.  It was full on summer today, and
my pansies in pots at the front of the house are drooping.
I'll water them of course, but if it stays hot, they will give
up.  And my long intensive study this spring of these
glorious flowers will come to an end.

I am grateful to the lovely woman at the convenience
store who sold me my very festive pansy pots going up
the front steps of the house in April.  These flowers don't mind
cold, and they hang in with our weather's ups and downs.
But heat is the absolute enemy of pansies, and it's coming.

Have a loving the flowers you love day.
