I don't remember painting this portrait of my son, Sam,
but I love it. He is giving the look your kid, or family
member gives you either when they're too tired for the
conversation, or they disagree with you heartily.

I feel like giving myself that look tonight when I look
in the mirror because I am tired beyond compare.
It was an exciting night in my once a week evening
class, with the students outdoing themselves, and 
it was wonderful.  But now I would give myself
that look -- because it's time to shut down the 
conversation in my brain and go to bed.
