More snow and summer thoughts

Today's painting celebrates some of the best times
I've had in the past couple of years, going to
three wonderful weddings and dancing until
the festivities ended.  I love weddings -- the
celebration of two people falling in love.  So
moving and joyous.  And I love dancing.

It is snowing and we have freezing rain again
here -- an excellent time to think about warm
days and love.

I came upon this photo from one of the
weddings, and had to paint it.  I love the
expression on the groom's face -- this
happened in the painting -- not in the photo.
Once again this is a small painting on a
birch panel.  The wood is a treat to paint
on.

Have a getting summer thoughts in a winter storm day.

That's exactly what I love about it too: his expression ...

Hi Laura,

I know right? He looks like he's on the edge of a whole new life. Plus I love that he's holding this huge bouquet of flowers.

XOXOXO Barbara
