I'm showing you this close up from a favourite family portrait
I did five and half years ago.  These children will be so much
more grown up now -- a shocking thought, but that's how fast it
happens. Which is why celebrating the special moments in our
families matters so much.  I am so glad we could have our
Father's Day dinner a day early to fit one of my son's
work schedules, and that we could enjoy a meal together
in honour of the two Dads there.  June is a big month,
and I notice that it's so packed that in past years, I frequently
didn't blog at all in this busy month.

But I love this detail of the father cuddling his little boy.
Children are so special, and make our lives so rich with
song, story, and affection.  I love being with my
children and the family as it grows.

Have a loving your family day.

I remember that painting! This is a beautiful detail of it. You captured that special feeling in both their expressions sooo well, Barbara!
The father’s thankful love and the little boy’s happiness. Love it!!

Thank you so much Liza,

They are a wonderful family. So kind and loving. It comes through
in the painting, and that makes me so happy.

Love the work you're doing.

XOXOXOXOXO Barbara
