In love with the Lake

In a park by the lake -- happiness

Today we took a long drive along Lake Ontario.  By now you
know that I'm in love with the lake -- seeing her out there --
so vast, and gorgeous blue, makes me happy.

I started a new painting yesterday, and even at the rough stage
it was going really well. But it isn't ready to be seen.  Wishing
you a wonderful Monday, and if you're American, a great 4th of
July.

Here is a view of the lake from one of our favourite parks.

Have a loving where you are day.

Gorgeous ❣️❣️❣️ It must be a beautiful lake and park. I have seen it only once on a very short visit to Toronto and drive back to the west coast.

Hi Evelyn,

After years of driving down dead end streets to be able to walk along the water path, we discovered a superb park. It is human made, and vast, with beaches, and forest, and a pond, wildlife, and you can get away from other people most of the time.

If you come back to Toronto, let me know and I'll tell you how to get there. A lot of the waterfront is built up with very ugly condos. But lake freaks will find the good places.

XOXOXOXOXOXO Barbara
