History repeats itself

I found a post I wrote in 2015, about the contrast between Paris
and Pugwash, Nova Scotia, where we have a little 100 + year old
school house. This seemed an appropriate topic today, as we are leaving
Paris, where we've been for five days tomorrow, and we will be in Toronto
for a few days before heading to Pugwash.  This time the contrast
will be greater, because not only is the contrast between great luxury --
Paris, and living without running water, and using an outhouse (Pugwash),
but there have been weather events in the Maritimes, which have left our small
property in some sort of disarray that we can hardly imagine.

Still I feel lucky that we get to experience both.  Paris is beautiful,
and Canada is a land of great beauty.  Now it's off to visit galleries.
And yes Fiona, Monet and Sally -- I miss all of you.

Have a loving your life day.
