I love the look on this little boy's face. And I enjoyed
sketching him in a few minutes from the painting by Reubens. This
was before my first coffee. I'm glad we don't have to grapple with
collars like that today. The painting is of Francesco IV Gonzaga,
Prince of Mantua. The boy in the painting looks like he wonders
what the artist is doing.
The painting by Ruebens is in a book we found on the street
where we eat the wraps in our car.we buy on the weekend. Someone
was throwing out old art books, and encyclopedias. We were
tempted by the encyclopaedias, but they were big and had
been rained on. The art books were fine.
We had a wonderful day today, and had dinner rapid tested
with wonderful artist friends. The best.
