National Hug Your Cat(s) Day

I was looking for a national day, and this came up.  Well I have 1 cat and
one very small kitten, so yes I will hug them for sure.  This is a sweet
painting of a cat we loved named Simone, and Monique our new, very
small kitten may end up looking like Simone.

I found this in a former blog, which seems perfect.  If you have cats
in your life, I hope you are enjoying them. So here's what I said:

"Pets are a wonderful part of anyone's life. But for artists they
are especially important, because they force us to take breaks to
feed them, play with them, and spend time with them.  And
they listen.  One of my followers on Instagram said that if you
share secrets with a cat, you're really sharing them with yourself.
And I answered that he clearly didn't have siamese cats. (We
have two, and our dog Sally.) They talk back and comment."

True.  I'm in complete agreement with that.  We love that
our cat and kitten are vocal. And they love us and the dog,
so that's wonderful.

Have a loving your life day!
