Fun with my art group

You mean the wedding's off?

Tonight I went to paint with my art group.  I just had
one hour, and there was a ten minute break, but I was
so glad I went.  My friend Sharon By the way(not her
real name), who calls me Barbara By the way (we have
become the By the way sisters) was there.  She is not
only a super artist, but very funny, she also plays wonderful
music on the stereo to motivate everyone to work happily.

Sadly I'm not a fan of hats, and the model was wearing
a large hat, fine straw with a big straw bow. I did my best,
then came home and painted the hat out.  And you know
what? It was much better with the hat.  The title came to me
during the pose, and I couldn't get it out of my head,
so it's there.  It feels so good to paint with other excellent
artists.  A treat in every respect.  Hats off to the DVAC for
 these great evenings.

Have a doing what you love day.
