The first nasturtiums -- a cause for celebration

Today was a big day in so many ways.  We got to spend time with
two of the youngest family members, and the youngest turns one
tomorrow.  So much fun.  Then our son came over with Emily
and we had a long socially distanced visit on the front porch.

We thought we'd try and get to the beach just for a few minutes,
before I finished marking, but my dear friend Susan's house was on
the way, and we meant to say "Hi," but we hadn't seen each other
for ever so we sat with Susan and Robert and had another wonderful
socially distanced visit!

Wow.  I came home to see that the nasturtiums planted from seed,
were actually flowering.  This has taken a couple of months so
it's a big deal.  I picked three and brought them inside to relish their
presence.

I finally finished marking! My evening class is over and I will miss them
so much.  I sent the marks in tonight -- so it's holiday time.
Here's to more nasturtiums tomorrow.
