A cheerful sketch for a happy night

I love this cheery ink and watercolour drawing I discovered that I did last
spring. It's the view from our back porch, and on the left is my neighbour's
wonderful tree.  I try and make myself go out from time to time on crazy
busy days like this, and it does help me stay both sane and happy.

Today was the last evening for my fabulous online class, and I will miss
this group very much, as I always miss students when the term is over.
This was such a vivacious, intelligent and funny group, that I know
I'll feel the gap in my life that was filled by thinking about, talking to,
and planning for them.

I am almost finished marking, and then it's time to rest, think, have fun,
and go to see the wonderful art show my work is in at the Heliconian Club.
See the ad in last night's post.
