It is a gorgeous, if frighteningly hot day, and I had the
distinct pleasure of packing this painting up,
and sending it off to its new owner.  She sent me a
cheque, which I cashed with pleasure.  I parked the
car a couple of blocks away from the bank and was
filled with joy, and the beauty of the flowers along
my walk.  Yesterday we had heavy rain, today bright
sun -- the plants are very happy.

I'm really glad this painting is heading up to
northern Ontario to a super collector, and fan of
my work in general.  Thank you to everyone who
helped me -- to the wonderful woman at De Serres
who mounted it beautifully in a mat and packed it
for me.  Thank you to the sweet woman at the post
office who figured out prices and proper mailing
packaging.

Off she goes.  Wishing you a happy day filled
with beauty.
