In the beginning -- no not quite that old

I was sorting through some paintings and found some
drawings from a long time ago.  I love the simplicity of it,
and I'm working on a portrait that went off the rails today.

The portrait will either get its act together, (yes
artists sometimes believe that paintings have a life
of their own),  or I'll work on something
else until the "aha" moment happens.  It's not a big
deal, but I was hoping to have something to show
you and thought I didn't.  But miracles happen.  I found
this drawing.

As it's a busy week for me -- two final evening classes
in the course I've been teaching for the past month and
a half.  I'm going to show you this, and two other
older drawings I found for the next couple of days.
I'm delighted to have quality work to show you.

Have a loving your former work day,
