The kindness of friends -- Flowers in the Month of Love

Today a dear friend came for tea, to cheer me up on this
the 23rd day of the Month of Love, and first full day in what
may be one month, or even two of wearing a cast.  And she brought
flowers -- tulips -- which are so joyous and lighthearted.  They speak
of spring, which really is just a month away now!

So it's going to be another short one tonight.  My wrist in
the cast is pretty good during the day, but gets quite sore
as the evening progresses.
