Tonight will be short -- I get a new cast on my arm for
my broken wrist early tomorrow morning, and it's
a bit sore (very) tonight.  But flipping through my
blog I found this wonderful painting.  It's wonderful to
me because this one image has everything I care about in it.
It's about love -- the happy love between the two parents --
and about family love -- the way the whole family works as a unit.

And it's about happiness.  If you read my other blog on
this series you'll see that this lovely family pulled me through a
very hard time, with the loss of my mother, of my dog, a
family pet, and one of my family members getting seriously
ill.

I have painted for many families, and created more than one piece
for several of them.  For a portrait painter that's an incredible
treat -- the chance to get to know a family in person and through
painting.

Have a loving the families you work with day.
