Another beautiful day in the neighbourhood

Today as our neighbours barbecued on the back porch, we sat on the front porch staring out
at the street. We are still in lockdown. It was so nice to see a neighbour across the street, who
wished us a "Happy Friday" as he jumped in his car to go somewhere. And a lady with a little girl
walked by and they said "Hi!" to our Siamese cat, Fiona. The sky was a gorgeous blue, the clouds
beyond gorgeous.
I spent the day painting, and marking, and painting some more. I’m a slow painter, which doesn’t
bother me, but it means it takes time for me to get work up here for you to see.
Instead today I’ll show you the view I had on my beautiful walk through the neighbourhood to get my permissible exercise. We are in lockdown, if it’s not permissible we’re not doing it.

What a beautiful walk it looks to be and must help lighten the lockdown. I walk very early and usually before anyone else is out.
