A sketch comes to life

I found this sketch in a notebook as I tidied my studio.
And I thought -- that would be good to paint.  So I did
today with acrylic ink.  I had fun doing it, which seems
like the whole point some days. I worked on other 
paintings too.  And here it is -- a sketch painting.

I think the location might be a very pretty park across
the bridge into Quebec from Ottawa, in Gatineau. Not
sure.  I had no reference photo, so I was working from
my imagination.
