The power of portraits

 I was just coming home from a walk today and saw the
fellow in this portrait. Tobias.  He is now 16 years old, and
6 foot tall.  He was playing basketball in his driveway (a 
passion in our neighbourhood) and we said "Hi" to one another.

Then looking through my files I found this, and felt so happy
that I captured a child  who has become a wonderful young man, and
that that connection matters.
