The theme in this house now is peonies. These huge, gorgeous flowers
have taken over our kitchen in a clear protest against our unexciting
daily routine. “No!,” they say. “You look around at this incredible beauty 
and accept that your life is beyond amazing. And so we do.

Here is a drawing I did last year. And I will include another photo for 
your enjoyment. The kindest people on my street share these 
magnificent flowers, and it feels like a celebration of our wedding 
Anniversary two weeks early!
