A long, and superb day

My Wednesdays start at 5:30 in the morning and end now
very late at night. I taught all day, the classes were
energized and my students with it. Here's a little
painting I worked on after school. I'm well aware that
there may not be garden flowers much longer. It's
3 degrees Celsius tonight. Chilly indeed.

Have an here's-another-great-new-month day.

Hi Barbara,

Oh how I wish I could have come to your open studio. It sounds like it was a wonderful time and I'm sure everyone loved seeing your beautiful work. I am especially loving these beautiful flower paintings... maybe because I know their days are numbered! Can you believe tomorrow is the first day of October?

Your work is vibrant and glorious time and time again!

Take care,
Nicki

What a happy vibrant painting indeed. I was also looking out at the garden and seeing its drowsy look. It will be sleeping soon. At times like this is especially nice to see your happy and exuberant paintings.

Hi LeSan,

Thanks so much. Winter is a whole other story. I feel shocked driving to work to see that the green fields have turned a gold colour and the geese are flying south in Vs. Come on! We need at least one more month of summer.

Take care,

Barbara

Glorious and full of warmth - thanks for more summer flowers, Barbara!

Hi Linny,

I'm going to the market tomorrow,
and I hope the flower lady is still there, because then there will be more.

It is really cold here. We have the heat on, and I'm wearing two sweaters.

Take care,

Barbara
