This weekend we drove to Windsor, Ontario yesterday to
celebrate my son Sam's birthday. After a super dinner,
and some gifts, we went back to our hotel, and woke
up this morning to Steven's birthday. I even had a piece
of cake delivered with his breakfast.

Today we left Sam, sad to say goodbye, and drove home
listening to a wonderful Diana Gabaldon book, A
Breath of Snow and Ashes. The book was so good we
didn't want to get out of the car when we got home, and
we'd driven for five hours.

Tonight's drawing is a very quick sketch of the author,
Diana Gabaldon. Her books are a pleasure, especially to
listen to.

Sounds like a pretty wonderful book if you still didn't want to get out of the car. The sketch is quite nice and shows a lovely expression. What a generous tribute.

I don't think we get Pure Design. Is it Canada only. I just tried to find you on HGTV and don't see that show listed at all. Wahhhhhhh!
