Happiness -- the art of friends

I own the art of quite a few of my friends.  This little
painting I bought a few months ago, made its way to
me on the day of the opening of the group show Windows
that I'm in (on until September 4th) at the Heliconian Club
on Hazelton Avenue in Toronto.

This is by my dear friend Georgia.  And it seems right to
talk about it today, because I just did a ten minute
meditation on happiness.  I also had a long talk with
my brother about art, and about what matters wealth,
or happiness.  They don't necessarily go together.
I am lucky. I said happiness.  I am a happy person most
of the time because I like my life and am surrounded by
loving people.

So this little painting hanging in our red entrance
hallway at the moment is called Happiness.  I had
forgotten the title -- but how perfect. Thank you Georgia
for being a fabulous artist, and for adding joy to the
planet.

Have a buying your friend's art day.

Thank you so much Liza, it is beautiful. I feel so lucky to know you. It is a wonderful
connection through art, and then it was beyond wonderful to meet you in person.
Yes we are very lucky.
