Dreaming of live portrait commission days

Pam in New York

What do you look forward to when the pandemic is over?
I can't wait until I can do portrait commissions again, and
to have clients sit for me in my studio on the good chair I bought
a few years ago to replace the one in this picture.

I remember this commission very well.  My client, Pam, certainly
belongs in New York.  She is an amazing dancer, and massage
therapist. And she would be right at home anywhere in the world.
In fact she lives near my brother and his wife, in a quiet country setting
outside Chelsea, Quebec.

Thank you Pam for the pleasure I had painting you and creating this
piece 11 summers ago!

Have a planning what you will do day.

Lovely painting! Lovely sitter, too :)
I hope soon your studio chair will be getting more use! I'd love to sit in it myself one day :)

Thank you so much Evelyn,

She is a beautiful sitter, and I'm glad you like the painting. I started showing in New York about 10 years ago, and I so love that city. It made me happy to picture her there.
