Happy Birthday to the beautiful girl in this portrait, which sold in New York City.
Ideally she would be spending her birthday in New York, but this year is the
year for dreaming.
Emily is an amazing person -- kind, funny, talented. We are so happy to have her in
our lives. She and my son have come over for many porch visits in every kind of weather
during the COVID nine months. We are so grateful to them for the cheer they bring.
We had Thanksgiving dinner with them outside on the back porch, and my son Sam‘s
birthday dinner outside too in November. So they are champions at bundling up and
having fun, masked at a social distance, and that’s been a great gift.
