Today is a holiday. So if it's a holiday for you, I wish you a
wonderful day, and if not, I hope you love the work you're
doing.
I'm just about to eat my oatmeal, and am thinking about how
COVID makes us reminisce about how things were. One of
our favourite things that has not come back yet is room
service. For Steven and me a room service breakfast at a
hotel that did that well was a supreme treat.
I'm pretty sure this painting is from references taken at
the Hilton in Quebec City. But I've got to say when we stayed
at the Novotel in Ottawa recently, and went to the restaurant
to get our breakfast to bring it to our room (no room
service) -- the cooks made wonderful oatmeal. Delicious.
