Thinking about former models

A great joy in this artist's life is painting from a live model.
COVID ended all that for quite awhile, and even still I have
not had a model in my house.  Although we now paint from a
live model (see last night's post) in my art group.  We are
all masked, and the model masked the moment she left the
posing platform.

At a mid-point in the current pandemic history so far, when
we thought if we were vaccinated, we were safe, I did this quick
study of Fatouma on our back porch.

Currently the porch is so thick with bees/wasps that we can't
sit out there.  Which is too bad, because the end of day light,
and the view of the garden are amazing.  Thank you Fatou
(her nickname) for posing for me, and for being funny.

Have a loving your life day.
