The thrill of landscape

Yellow fields
Acrylic ink and pencil
on watercolour paper
5 x 7 inches
Barbara Muir © 2022

I started this painting of fields in Quebec yesterday.  We had a marvellous
drive out to our favourite park, and fed the ducks and seagulls. They were
hungry! The lake was wild, the waves high.  It was fabulous. This
image reminded me of the visual delights of our trip home from
Nova Scotia through New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario

Some reference photos of mine picked up that spirit.  And
here we are.  I hope your holiday was wonderful, and that your
week starts off filled with promise.

Life is good.

Have a loving your life day.

Hi Laura,

Thank you so much. Acrylic ink is wonderful to work with. Unpredictable, but
a delight. Love, love, love your work.
